Árni Gunnsteinsson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 2012, they worked at Össur as a Production Engineer for five years before transitioning to become a Business Process Manager. In this role, they focused on improving scalability and efficiency through process improvements, strategic projects, and establishing a business process structure. Árni then moved onto the position of Global M&O Business Controller, where they supported management in understanding costs and COGS, developed standard cost reporting, and improved cost-related processes and system configurations. In 2021, they joined Lauf Cycling as a Production and Quality Manager, overseeing production and quality control operations. Currently, Árni is serving as the Vice President Operations at 50skills, a platform that streamlines employee onboarding by centralizing data, eliminating repetitive tasks, and integrating with existing tools and services.
Árni Gunnsteinsson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands, which they pursued from 2004 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Production Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2011.
