Richard Lines

Richard Lines is a skilled professional with extensive experience in digital leadership and disaster response. Currently serving as Digital Lead for 510, an initiative of the Netherlands Red Cross since April 2022, Richard also volunteers as a Response Team Member for ShelterBox, actively addressing emergencies caused by disasters. Previous roles include Senior Finance Specialist and Project Manager at Oxfam Novib, where the focus was on finance for a large European consortium, and DRR Consultant for IOM - UN Migration during the assessment of hurricane readiness in Grand Bahama and the Abaco islands. Additionally, Richard served on the board of Happy Watoto, supporting education for underprivileged children in Tanzania. With a strong educational background that includes an MSc in Risk, Disaster & Resilience from UCL and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from LSE, Richard's professional journey encompasses significant positions in finance and management at Wood Mackenzie, Premier Oil, and Ernst & Young.
