Sara Brand

Sara Brand, Ph.D., is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship. As the Founding General Partner of True Wealth Ventures since March 2015, Sara leads an early-stage investment fund focusing on women-led companies that enhance environmental and human health. Sara also co-founded and owns 512 BREWING COMPANY, where significant growth was achieved through sustainable practices. In addition to these roles, Sara serves on the boards of several innovative companies, including Refiberd, De Oro Devices, Aeromutable Corporation, Queen of Raw, Oralucent LLC, Dermala Inc., UnaliWear, and POLLACK, all aimed at addressing critical health, environmental, and sustainability challenges. Sara earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Management of Technology Certification and a Master's degree in the same field, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
