Bill Mason

Bill Mason has worked in the software engineering industry since 1996. Bill began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Number Six Software, where they were responsible for transferring object-oriented development technologies and software engineering processes to emerging development organizations. In 2006, they joined 5AM Solutions Inc as an Agile Project Manager for the Arizona Biomedical Research Commission and the National Foundation for Cancer Research biobanking applications. In this role, they managed project plans, status, and risks while planning and coordinating deliveries with team and client. Bill also acted as ScrumMaster and used agile software development methodologies to run daily stand-ups and planning meetings. In 2014, Bill moved to LongView International Technology Solutions as a Project Manager. Finally, in 2016, they joined GovernmentCIO as a Project Manager and managed the VA Million Veteran Program, the largest database of genomic data coupled with longitudinal data.

Bill Mason attended Georgia State University from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics.
