Tom Baird

Tom Baird has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom founded Indicator Point in 2004 and has been serving as the Principal Consultant since then. In 2002, they worked at CCC Information Services as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. From 2004 to 2005, they served as the President and CEO of ClaimIQ, Inc. After that, they joined Mitchell International as the Senior Vice President of Product Management from 2005 to 2007. In 2011, they became the CEO of Arcata LLC, and from 2013 to 2016, they served as the President and CEO of Perfect Point EDM Corporation. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at CONNECT San Diego as the Entrepreneur in Residence. In 2017, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Mojave Jane Brands, Inc. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as an Executive Consultant and Interim CEO at Lobe Sciences Ltd. Most recently, they took on the role of Chairman of the Board and President at 5th Kind, Inc. in 2022 to lead a significant reorganization and exit process.

Tom Baird attended the University of Southern California from 1988 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Science in Systems Management (MSSM) with a field of study in Systems Management. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1984, they studied at Virginia Tech and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a field of study in Mechanical Engineering.
