Dr Waseem afsar

Dr. Waseem Afsar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Medical Officer at MYCA for one year. In 2002, they served as a Surgeon Lieutenant in the Indian Navy. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Medical Officer Incharge at PHC for the Odisha State Government. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Medical Officer for the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia. Dr Waseem then joined Tata Steel in 2010 as a Registrar at Tata Main Hospital, where they provided clinical consultation and performed surgeries while also managing administrative and operational responsibilities. In 2016, they joined CallHealth as the Business Head for eHealth Records and Diagnostic at Home, where they developed and implemented business strategies and provided solutions for optimal resource deployment. In 2017, they became the Chief Operations Officer and Co-founder of 5thVital. Currently, Dr. Afsar holds the position of Co-founder at Predlabs, a position they assumed in 2021.

Dr. Waseem Afsar completed their education in a chronological order. Dr Waseem first attended Sambalpur University from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in the field of medicine. After that, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2015 to 2016, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Operations and Strategy. In the same year, they briefly studied at Texas McCombs School of Business, concentrating on Business Administration and Management, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from there.
