Matthew Rasey has a diverse work experience in various roles. Matthew worked as an Animator at NBC Sports Group from December 2018 to the present, focusing on creating 2D/3D animations and delivering graphics for on-air programming, particularly for NBC's coverage of the National Hockey League. Matthew also worked as a Senior Project Engineer at 5x5 Technologies Inc. from August 2018 to the present, performing aerial triangulation on remotely sensed imagery datasets as part of a photogrammetric team. Additionally, they worked as a 2D/3D Artist at High 5 Games in May-August 2018, where they created graphics and animations for slot machine games. In their prior roles, they worked as a 3D Artist at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts from March 2017 to February 2018, a 3D Modeling Intern at The Beamer, LLC from May 2016 to May 2017, and a Student Creative at -Ation Student Agency from August to December 2016. Matthew also had part-time roles as a Snow Shoveler at UConn Facilities Operations and Building Services from December 2015 to March 2016, and as a Tent Crew/Driver at Taylor Rental / Party Plus from May to August 2015.
Matthew Rasey attended Daniel Hand High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following their high school education, they pursued further studies at the University of Connecticut from 2014 to 2018. During this time, Matthew earned a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media & Design with a concentration in 3D Animation and Visualization.
