Emily Parkhurst

Emily Parkhurst is the VP of Content at 6AM City. Emily was previously the Publisher and Market President of the Puget Sound Business Journal from February 2012 to July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Reporter at The Forecaster from March 2010 to January 2012, where they won the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi Award for Investigative Reporting in 2010. Emily has also been a Staff Writer at the Independent Publishing Group from February 2009 to March 2010, and an Arts Editor at the Independent Publishing Group from September 2008 to October 2008.

Emily Parkhurst has a MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and a BM in Music Performance from University of Southern Maine.

They are on a team with Rachel Sklenar - Sales Director, Chloe Rodgers - Director of Branded Content, and Emily Herron - Director of Account Management. Their manager is Ryan Johnston, CEO.
