Hongye Sun

Hongye Sun is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and venture capital sectors, currently serving as a Venture Partner at 6 Dimensions Capital since February 2020. Prior to this role, Hongye Sun held prominent positions including Chief Technology Officer and Head of China at WuXi NextCODE from January 2015 to January 2020, and Vice President of Platform Technologies and Chief Operating Officer of the Genome Center at WuXi AppTec from June 2011 to January 2015. Hongye Sun's career commenced at Life Technologies as a Principal Scientist from February 2001 to June 2011. Hongye Sun earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Peking University between 1989 and 1992.
