Gregory Wrobel has worked in various engineering and research roles since 2006. From 2006-2007, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, working with Dr. George Rossetti Jr. From 2007-2010, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, working with Dr. Puxian Gao on their Ph.D dissertation research, as well as additional Ph.D research and their M.S. thesis research. Gregory also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for two courses. In 2013, they began a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Connecticut, working with Dr. Eric Jordan on research and development of prototype ceramic thermal barrier coatings, materials characterization, and developing methodology to produce proprietary chemical solutions for use in plasma spray. In 2014, they began working at Amastan Technologies as a Senior Scientist and in 2017, they took on the role of Lead Engineer at 6K. Gregory has been a Lead Engineer at Amastan Technologies since 2018.
Gregory Wrobel received their Bachelor of Applied Science in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2008. Gregory then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Material Science and Engineering from the same university in 2010. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2013.
