Theo Peterson has extensive work experience in information security and technology management. Theo is currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Roofstock, an online marketplace for investing in rental homes. Prior to this, they worked as a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer at 6pillars.io, an Australian cyber security platform and service provider. Theo also founded Build, a software nearshoring firm in Costa Rica, and served as the Founder and CISO. Additionally, Theo has experience as the owner of Blackmore Risk Management, a cybersecurity firm, and as the Associate Director of Platform Engineering at Chewy, where they played a crucial role in scaling the company's technology organization. Following this, they pursued further education at James Madison University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Information Security.
