Ryan Hough

Ryan Hough, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Ryan currently serves as the Senior VP of Human Resources at 7 17 Credit Union since September 2019. Previously, they held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Summit Academy Management from October 2016 to August 2019. Prior to that, Ryan was the Human Resources Manager at Butech Bliss from April 2014 to October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for strategic HR initiatives, including succession planning, organizational development, and leadership coaching. From October 2007 to April 2014, Ryan served as the VP of Human Resources and Compliance at Coleman Health Services, where they supported the HR and compliance needs of the organization. Before that, they worked at Deluxe Corporation as a Human Resources professional from September 2005 to September 2007, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and training for a light industrial operation. Ryan's career in HR began at Independence Of Portage County, where they served as the Human Resources/Benefits Coordinator/Manager from 1995 to 2005. Ryan played a crucial role in recruitment, training, and benefits management, and developed a performance management tool for the organization.

Ryan Hough, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Walsh University. Additionally, they have an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science from Southern Ohio College. Ryan completed their high school education at Rootstown High. Ryan Hough has also obtained the certifications of SHRM-SCP from SHRM and SPHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
