Geographic Information Systems Analyst at 7Analytics

Callum Scougal is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at 7Analytics since June 2022 and a GIS Consultant with the FAO since April 2019, focusing on sustainability of fisheries and marine ecosystem protection. Previous experience includes roles as a Sales Engineer at MicaSense and significant contributions to the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) as a member of the WGINOSE and WKMLEARN working groups, facilitating integrated ecosystem assessments and the application of machine learning in marine data analysis. Callum has also served as a Senior GIS Analyst and GIS Team Leader at Cefas, managing GIS resources and delivering advanced analyses across various environments. Notably, Callum developed and delivered a UAV processing course for the Department of Environment in Antigua & Barbuda. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Dundee.
