Jorge Lechin

Jorge Lechin, CFA, currently serves as a Senior Project Director at 8 Rivers, where responsibilities include leading projects related to hydrogen production utilizing proprietary technology for improved efficiency and reduced emissions. Jorge has a rich background in energy and project development, having held significant roles at Sunnova Energy as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, and at Centrica, where Jorge was a Director and commercial lead for the North America Group. Prior positions include strategic leadership at Calpine focused on Mexico's energy landscape, managing regional growth for Duke Energy in Latin America, and various roles in development and management at DKRW Energy, Occidental Petroleum, Pedregal Power Company, and Kinder Morgan. Jorge holds an MBA in Finance and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
