Annie Wissemeier

Annie Wissemeier has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Annie currently works at 80 Acres Farms as a Sustainability Manager, where they started in April 2023 after previously serving as a Sustainability Engineer from October 2021 to April 2023.

Prior to their role at 80 Acres Farms, Annie worked at Kao Corporation as a Process Project Engineer from June 2019 to October 2021. Annie was responsible for leading the design and construction of new processing suites, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing external contractor support.

From April 2016 to June 2019, Annie served as a Project Engineer at ThermalTech Engineering. Annie assisted in energy and water audits, calculated savings based on engineered solutions, and acted as the lead process engineer for food manufacturing projects.

Annie also gained experience at Unilever. Annie worked as a Global Brand Innovation Planner for TRESemmé from September 2015 to March 2016, managing multiple project networks and coordinating global teams. Annie also held the role of Site Quality Specialist Continuous Improvement from September 2014 to September 2015 and worked as a Retail Sales Vendor from June 2014 to August 2014.

Additionally, Annie held various cooperative education positions at Marathon Petroleum Company. Annie served as a Technical Services Coop from December 2010 to March 2011, from December 2011 to March 2012, from April 2013 to August 2013, and from December 2010 to March 2011. Annie also worked as a Technical Service Process Controls Coop from August 2012 to December 2012 and as a Product Quality Coop from June 2011 to September 2011.

Annie began their professional journey at the University of Cincinnati, where they worked as a ProPEL Student Worker from September 2013 to May 2014.

Annie Wissemeier completed their Master of Science degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati from 2009 to 2014.
