Tyler van Gorder

Tyler Van Gorder has extensive work experience in software engineering. Tyler currently serves as a Lead Software Engineer at 84.51, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Moderne, Inc. from November 2020 to January 2023, where they were hired as employee number five and focused on automated migrations using enterprise Java. From October 2018 to November 2020, Tyler worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Build.com, where they acted as the technical product owner of the company's Java-based REST API and helped establish domain-specific services. Before that, they served as a Senior Java Architect at Build.com from September 2015 to October 2018, where they contributed to the modernization of the company's backend infrastructure. Tyler's career began at EXL Healthcare in November 1992, where they held various roles such as Software Development Team Lead and Senior Developer. During their time at EXL Healthcare, they were involved in hands-on coding, team management, and the development of framework libraries for healthcare applications.
