Zoran Mijatovic

Zoran Mijatovic has extensive work experience in the software engineering and development industry. Zoran is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at 8FIGURES. Prior to this, Zoran was a Co-Founder and held various roles including Product Manager and Head of Engineering at Alturabit Ltda. Zoran was responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of new products and services, providing software development and consulting services.

From 2015 to 2022, Zoran worked at Carnegie Technologies where they successfully built and managed development and QA teams in multiple locations. Zoran also played a crucial role in achieving PCI Level 1 certification compliance for the company. Zoran spearheaded the architecture, design, and development of products across different technologies and industries.

Before joining Carnegie Technologies, Zoran co-founded Alturabit Ltda. in 2009 and served as the Co-Founder, Product Manager, and Head of Engineering. Zoran had similar responsibilities, overseeing the development and delivery of products and services while also providing software development and consulting services.

Prior to that, Zoran was the Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Devguard, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that provided professional Subversion hosting solutions. Zoran assisted individuals, small and medium companies, and distributed teams with their version control needs.

In 2005, Zoran worked as a Software Development Consultant at Neosoft Ltda., providing architecture and development consulting services. Zoran was involved in the development and maintenance of software for regulatory reports required by the Chilean central bank.

Zoran started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Total Recall LLC / BinaryBiz in 2003, where they contributed to the development of web applications, e-commerce platforms, and interfaces with payment processors. Zoran also designed and developed interfaces between various systems and databases.

From 2000 to 2003, Zoran worked as a Software Engineer at Harseim Technologies / FrontSuite S.A., focusing on backend and frontend development for hotel management system software. Zoran also developed and maintained interfaces with telephone plants, point-of-sale systems, and magnetic key cards.

Zoran began their professional journey as a Software Developer at System Corporation Plc in 1999, where they worked on the conversion of accounting software. Prior to that, they gained experience as a System Operator at the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia from 1997 to 1999.

Zoran Mijatovic attended the Technical College "Novi Beograd" from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued studies in Computerized Manufacturing Systems. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, they studied Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technician at the Politechnical Academy "Novi Beograd".
