Michael Healy

Michael leads the commercial team at 8minute Solar Energy, responsible for the strategy and execution for selling the clean energy products generated by 8minute’s smart power plants. He has a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus in PPA origination, project development and finance. Previously as SVP, Origination, he managed PPA structuring, pricing strategy and business development for 8minute, resulting in over 3 GW of solar and battery storage deals to date across the company’s core markets. Michael previously worked at Recurrent Energy, where he focused on project development for a portfolio of early- to late-stage assets. During his time with the company, he managed approximately 600 MW of projects through commercial operation. Michael began his career in the Leveraged Finance group of Wells Fargo Securities, where he worked on leveraged loan and high-yield bond offerings across multiple industry segments. Michael holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
