Uroš Sinjko

Uro L. is an experienced research data engineer currently employed at Citadel Securities since July 2022, focusing on alternative data alpha. Prior to this role, Uro served as an undergraduate student researcher at the University of Maryland, contributing to a project on revenue-maximizing auctions that was accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro has held leadership experience as co-president of the Smith Investment Fund, overseeing systematic strategy research, and gained technical skills through internships at Facebook in assistant question answering and civic integrity projects, as well as a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC, where systematic VIX and options strategy research was conducted. Uro completed a bachelor's degree at the University of Maryland between 2018 and 2022, following a specialized high school education at Montgomery Blair High School in the math, science, and computer science magnet program from 2014 to 2018.
