Poornima Samarasekara

Poornima Samarasekara has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Poornima is currently working at 99x as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer since October 2021. Prior to this, Poornima worked at Camms as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer from December 2019 to October 2021.

Before their role at Camms, Poornima worked at Virtusa in various positions. Poornima started as an Industrial Trainee at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd in August 2015 and worked until May 2016. Later on, they joined Virtusa as an Intern from September 2016 to December 2016. Subsequently, they worked as an Associate QA Engineer from December 2016 to October 2018, then as an Engineer - QA from October 2018 to July 2019, and finally as an Associate Consultant - QA from July 2019 to December 2019.

Overall, Poornima has gained experience and expertise in quality assurance and software testing throughout their career, and their roles have progressively advanced in responsibility and seniority.

Poornima Samarasekara attended Musaeus College from 1996 to 2010, where they studied the mathematics stream, including combined maths, physics, and chemistry. From 2011 to 2016, they attended Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, where they pursued a B.Sc. (Joint Major) Degree in Electronics & Computing and Information Systems.
