Prasath Mahalingam

Prasath Mahalingam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Prasath started their career in 2005 as a Business Solution Specialist at Zillione Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager at a company called 99X Technology. During this time, they successfully managed various projects and developed strong analytical and leadership skills. From 2012 to 2016, Prasath worked as a Business Consultant, providing expert advice and guidance to clients. In 2016, they moved up to the role of Manager - Business Consulting at 99X Technology, further enhancing their managerial capabilities. As of February 2019, Prasath serves as the Chief Business Development Officer at 99X Technology, where they focus on achieving business revenue growth and meeting project profitability targets.

Prasath's professional involvement also extends beyond their work roles. Prasath has been an active member of the Sri Lanka-NORDIC Business Council since 2015, serving as Vice President from July 2018 to July 2020, President from August 2020 to September 2022, and currently as a Committee Member. This signifies their dedication to fostering business relationships and contributing to the growth of the business community.

Prasath Mahalingam attended PSG College of Technology from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology. After this, they pursued further education but did not specify the start or end years. Prasath became a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and obtained the MBCS qualification in Information Technology from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Management Accounting from CIMA. Prasath also acquired certifications from the Project Management Institute, becoming a Project Management Professional, and from the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master, specializing in Agile Methodology.
