Hendré Ackermann

Hendré Ackermann's work experience includes roles such as Partner and CFO at 9thWonder Agency since 2020, COO & CFO at Mattress Firm from 2017 to 2020, Group Finance Executive at Steinhoff International from 2013 to 2017, and various finance positions at BHP Billiton from 2006 to 2012. Additionally, they served as a Manager at Ernst & Young in 2006 and started their career as an Audit Trainee at Greenwoods Chartered Accountants in 2003.

Hendré Ackermann attended Outeniqua High School from 1994 to 1998. Hendré then pursued a Bachelor of Accounting at Stellenbosch University from 1999 to 2001, followed by a Postgraduate diploma in Accounting from 2002 to 2003 at the same institution. Hendré went on to earn the title of Chartered Accountant from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, completing the program from 2003 to 2005. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and General studies from London Business School, attending from 2011 to 2013.
