Miranda Lahman

Miranda Lahman, PhD, is a Scientist I at A-Alpha Bio since June 2023, with extensive experience in molecular medicine and research. Previously, Miranda served as a Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Chapuis Lab at Fred Hutch from September 2017 to June 2023, where leadership included mentoring and managing teams. Prior to this, Miranda worked as a Senior Research Associate at Stratos Genomics from August 2014 to May 2017, contributing to the development of novel technologies and participating in departmental leadership. Initial research roles included experience as a Research Associate, focusing on training and interdepartmental collaboration, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Western Washington University, conducting assays related to fungal resistance. Miranda holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Washington and a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Western Washington University.
