Asw Christine A. Couture

Christine A. Couture, LCSW, is an experienced mental health clinician with a focus on early childhood interventions, serving at A Better Way, Inc. from September 2017 to August 2024. Prior experience includes working as a mental health intern in the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services at the County of San Mateo, and participating in school-based programs in Alameda County. Leadership experience includes serving as Co-President of the Student Government Executive Committee at Smith College School for Social Work. Christine’s background also includes roles in marketing and operations for M Squared Consulting and its subsidiary, Collabrus Inc., as well as community health efforts at the Berkeley Free Clinic. Christine holds a Master of Social Work from Smith College and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Mathematics from Mills College.
