Heather Yochim

Heather Yochim is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as Program Team Lead and Qualified Mental Health Professional at A Caring Alternative, LLC since July 2022. Prior roles include Youth Mentor and Lead Residential Counselor at Equinox RTC from August 2020 to September 2022, along with mentorship positions at Wipporwill. Heather also gained experience as an intern at Buncombe County Justice Resource Center in 2020. Prior to entering the mental health field, Heather held various roles including Assistant Manager at Shurfine Food Mart and a wait position at Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery. Heather Yochim is pursuing a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at Liberty University, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy from Mars Hill University.
