Jennifer Hartsell Stockdale is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience as a Staff Attorney for the United States Courts, Middle District of Tennessee, since 1999, where responsibilities include statutory screening of pro se complaints and habeas corpus petitions. Prior to this, Jennifer served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Robert L. Echols, Chief Judge, focusing on legal research and drafting for civil and criminal cases. In addition to legal work, Jennifer has contributed to youth education as a STEM Youth Educator with the University of Tennessee Extension program and as an Instructor for A Grade Ahead, developing public speaking programs. Jennifer also owns Spark, providing writing workshops and college application assistance, and held an adjunct instructor position at Volunteer State Community College teaching legal writing. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Emory & Henry University.
