Candice Simonds

Candice Simonds currently serves as Chief Program Officer and California Clinical Director at A Home Within since August 2021. Simonds also operates as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice at Simonds Counseling since April 2018. Previous experience includes holding the position of Psychosocial Clinician II at Kaiser Permanente from June 2018 to April 2021, and Clinical Social Worker at Napa Valley Hospice & Adult Day Services from October 2015 to November 2017. In addition, Simonds was the Regional Director at LifeLong Medical Care, Marin Adult Day Health Center from May 2014 to September 2015, where responsibilities included staff management and regulatory compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Director for Solano County Programs at Seneca Family of Agencies from February 2003 to April 2014, focusing on mental health supervision and compliance with state regulations, and co-founding the Solano County Transition Age Youth Collaborative. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (2013-2015) and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Western Michigan University (2001-2002).
