Kyle V. Smith

Kyle V. Smith is an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer currently supporting NASA's Launch Services Program at a.i. solutions since January 2023. Prior to this role, Kyle served as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Siemens Energy from October 2015 to January 2023, focusing on the structural analysis of gas turbine hot section components and developing mechanical properties for various nickel-based superalloys. Kyle also held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation, where responsibilities included structural analysis of nuclear reactor components from July 2008 to October 2015. The professional journey began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Lockheed Martin from May 2007 to May 2008. Kyle holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University.
