Mafrul Haq Rahat, CODP

Mafrul Haq Rahat has over 16 years of experience in human resources management and compliance. Mafrul Haq is currently working as the Head of HR at A. K. Khan & Company Ltd. since June 2023. Previously, they held the position of General Manager, HR at Runner Group, Bangladesh from January 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they worked as the Head of HR & Compliance at Progress Apparels (Bangladesh) Ltd from July 2017 to January 2021.

Prior to joining Progress Apparels, Mafrul served as the Head of HR at SQ Birichina Ltd., a large SBU of SQ Group, from August 2015 to July 2017. During their time at SQ Group, they managed a team of 4,500 employees and contributed to the company's expansion.

Before joining SQ Group, Mafrul worked at Accenture Bangladesh as an Employee Relations and Policy Lead from October 2014 to August 2015. Mafrul Haq collaborated with internal and external HR consultants to ensure the continuity of business and progressive company policies.

Mafrul Haq also has experience as a Human Resources Manager at PVH from December 2013 to October 2014, an IR Manager at Coats Bangladesh Ltd. from June 2011 to December 2013, and an Officer - HR at Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd. from November 2009 to July 2011.

Mafrul started their career as an HR Executive at Kenpark Bangladesh Apparel (Pvt.) Ltd. from December 2007 to November 2009.

Mafrul Haq Rahat, CODP, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Chittagong in 2008. In 2009, they pursued further education at the Bangladesh Institute of Management, where they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management.
