Shahd A.

Shahd A. is a dedicated academic and entrepreneur currently serving as a Graduate Instructor and PhD student at the University of South Florida since August 2021. As the CEO and Founder of Blue Meets Blue, an ethical clothing line designed to support refugee women in the USA, Shahd A. demonstrates a strong commitment to social entrepreneurship. Recently, Shahd A. has also become an author for A Kids Co., contributing to a book on humanitarianism. Previous experiences include co-founding HoneyTree Books, a book subscription service for children, and working as an educator at the Microtech Language Institute, teaching English abroad. Shahd A. possesses a diverse educational background with a PhD in Sociology from the University of South Florida, a Master’s in International Psychology from The Chicago School, and a Bachelor’s in English Literature, Philosophy, and Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
