Tervel Kolarov

Tervel Kolarov, CIA, is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in internal auditing and control frameworks. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Consultant at A-LIGN since August 2022, Tervel previously held the position of Head of Internal Control Department at PAC Doverie AD, where responsibilities included team management and compliance assurance. Prior roles include Deputy Head of Internal Audit at Tokuda Bank AD, where Tervel led risk-based audits and fraud investigations, and various auditing positions at Alpha Bank, United Bulgarian Bank, Eurobank EFG Bulgaria, and Raiffeisen Bank - Bulgaria. Tervel holds an MBA in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy, along with additional training from Software University.
