Francis Dinha

Francis Dinha has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Francis founded OpenVPN Inc. in 2004, where they served as Founder & CEO. OpenVPN is a California-based company that specializes in virtual private network software. Prior to OpenVPN, Francis Dinha was the President & CEO of Iraq Telecom Development and Investment Projects from 2003 to 2004. In this role, they focused on providing communication network solutions and establishing joint ventures with international organizations.

Before their work in Iraq, Francis Dinha founded and served as CTO of PacketStream from 1999 to 2003. PacketStream developed system solutions for QoS provisioning in IP networks. Francis also founded and served as CEO of NewCom Technologies from 1996 to 1999, which specialized in IP networking software and hardware integration.

Francis Dinha gained valuable experience in the telecommunications industry as the Architect and Broadband System Engineer at Ericsson from 1991 to 1996. Francis played a crucial role in defining the product strategy and establishing the program for developing broadband and internet-related products.

Earlier in their career, Francis Dinha worked as a Software Manager & Senior Member of Technical Staff at DSC Communications from 1988 to 1991, where they developed and managed communication protocols and software for Telecom systems. Francis also had experience as a Senior Software Engineer at DSP Technology from 1986 to 1988, developing software for AT&T's switching network.

Francis Dinha began their career as a Research Assistant at Linköping University from 1983 to 1988. Francis was involved in research activities related to information transmission technology, digital signal processing, and VLSI technology.

Throughout their career, Francis Dinha has demonstrated their expertise in networking, software development, and system integration. Francis has successfully founded and led multiple companies, generating substantial revenue and securing significant financing.

Francis Dinha attended Linköping University from 1979 to 1983, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
