Brian Parnell

Brian Parnell, LCSW, has extensive experience in social work and therapy, currently serving as a Therapist Administrator, Therapist, and Co-Owner at A New View Counseling and Psychological Services since January 2014, providing diverse counseling services to adults and adolescents. Previously, Brian owned Utah Family Matters from November 2019 to August 2022, offering mental health counseling and support for families in conflict. With a background in program administration at the Utah Department of Health, Brian managed domestic violence and adoption programs, as well as the Utah Medicaid Autism Waiver. Additional roles include oversight of the Head Start program at Community Action Partnership, directing the CPS Investigations Division in Kern County, and serving as a Medical Social Worker at Mercy Hospital. Brian holds a Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Fresno, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield.
