Christian Hankel

Christian Hankel has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development and web design. Christian currently holds the position of Lead Front End Developer at A Place for Mom, where they focus on using new technologies to improve services for families seeking senior care. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at VML, where they developed front-end and back-end solutions for various clients and projects. Christian also worked as a Frontend Developer at EquipmentShare, specializing in React and Redux development. Christian has also been involved in the arts community, co-founding the KC Music Collective and planning local musician showcases. Christian has held other positions such as Software Engineer at Epiq Systems and Interactive Web Developer at VML. Their work experience also includes owning a boutique and working as a Software Developer for various companies, such as Kansas City Life Insurance Company and Charter Funerals.

Christian Hankel attended Rockhurst High School from 1982 to 1986. Following high school, they enrolled at Rockhurst University in 1986, but it is unknown if they obtained a degree or field of study during their time there. From 1987 to 1991, Hankel attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Later, from 1998 to 2001, they returned to the University of Missouri-Kansas City and earned another Bachelor of Arts degree, this time in Computer Science.
