Kate Murphy

Kate Murphy is an experienced television producer with over two decades in the industry. Currently serving as an Executive Producer at A. Smith & Co. Productions since June 2019, Kate has helmed the production of seasons 4, 5, and 6 of TLC's "Welcome to Plathville" after previously co-producing the first three seasons. Other notable roles include Co-Executive Producer for Discovery series "Raising Wild," "Mama Medium," and "The Little Couple," as well as story producing for "Wahlburgers" and "Married at First Sight." Kate's production expertise is complemented by a BA in Art History from UCLA, earned from 2000 to 2002.
