Sawsan Gad

Sawsan Gad is an experienced professional with a background in research and business development. Sawsan began their career in 2003 as a Trainee at Raya Telecom, where they were a customer tele-service agent. In 2005, they were a Sales Executive Assistant at Afia International in Egypt. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Teaching and Research Assistant at the German University in Cairo, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Irvine. In 2008, they became a Self-Employed Quantitative Analyst/Researcher. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Geospatial Data Consultant at UNDP. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and GIS Data Analyst at the World Bank Group. In 2016, they became a Founding Partner and Strategist at iDemyx, where they manually collected and standardized a database of government offices to the village level in Kenya, Egypt and Jordan, and designed user-experience requirements for API development. Finally, in 2021, they became the Chief Research and Business Development Officer at A to B Robotics.

Sawsan Gad's education history is as follows: In 2001, they completed their Bachelor from Ain Shams University in Commerce. From 2007 to 2008, they completed their M.A. from UC Irvine in Demographic and Social Analysis. Currently, they are a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) student at George Mason University, studying Earth Systems and Geoinformation Sciences.
