Ana V. Silva

Ana V. Silva is an accomplished R&I Engineer at A-to-Be since October 2021, with prior experience as an R&D Engineer at Modelling and a Senior Researcher at INESC-MN, where significant contributions included the optimization of spintronic devices and advanced training in device modelling and micro-nanofabrication. Ana held roles as an Invited Assistant Professor and Invited Lecturer of Nanotechnology at Instituto Superior Técnico, and completed a visiting research position at Technische Universiteit Delft, focusing on elastic deformation modelling. Early career experiences include development coordination at Cores do Globo, and research internships at LNEG, Instituto Superior Técnico, and CERN. Ana earned a PhD in Engineering Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico, complemented by integrated MSc degrees in Engineering Physics.
