Jean Kaplan Teichroew

Jean Kaplan Teichroew has extensive experience in editing and communications spanning over two decades. Currently, Jean serves as a volunteer at A Wider Circle and works as a freelance editor. Previous roles include editing for ABC-Clio on a project focused on chronic diseases and serving as Vice President of Communications for the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Jean has also held freelance editing positions at Sparticl, Twin Cities Public Television, and MANILA Consulting Group, along with significant editorial leadership at Discovery Communications, Inc. and the National Geographic Society. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Folklore from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley.
