Gene Boehm

Gene Boehm began his career with AAA in 2017 when he joined the executive team at The Auto Club Group (ACG). There, he served as Senior Vice President, leading strategy, sustainability, and direct sales. In this role, Boehm engaged in long-term strategic planning and sustainability and led a team of over 1,000 call center professionals serving AAA members every day.

Gene’s passion for bringing AAA members the highest-quality service, products, and benefits is the driving force behind his role as president and CEO. He is committed to ensuring that AAA remains one of the most trusted brands in America, delivering on the promise of helping our members whenever they need us most. Whether that’s planning their next dream vacation, picking the right home or auto insurance for their personal situation, saving a few dollars with our exceptional discounts, or when they are stranded on the side of the road and need to get back on the go.

Before joining ACG, Gene worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), consulting with leading companies on strategy, mergers, and customer experience. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Allstate, Arthur Anderson, and Walgreens.  He earned a master’s degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and a bachelor’s in Psychology from Illinois State University.

Gene and his wife of 29 years, Katie have two grown sons, Adam and Luke. They enjoy traveling and running marathons together and are excited to start their next chapter in Florida, where AAA is based.
