Shella Taylor

Shella Taylor has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business development, strategy, and proposal management. Shella has held positions in companies such as Aalyria, where they currently serve as the VP of Proposals, and served as an Independent Consultant specializing in Capture & Proposal SME Consulting from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they worked at SAIC as a Proposal SME and at TASC, an Engility Company, in a similar role. Shella also has experience as a Proposal Manager at General Dynamics Mission Systems and as the VP of Operations at Santeon, Inc. In addition, they co-founded and served as the Operations Lead at Novitas Group, where they played a crucial role in strategy, business development, and proposal management. Prior to that, they worked as the Business Development Manager, Director of Program Development at The Buffalo Group. Their early career includes roles as a Manager of Strategy & Corporate Performance at Mission Essential Personnel, LLC and as an Arabic Linguist/Translator in the United States Air Force.

Shella Taylor obtained an A.A. degree in Arabic from the Defense Language Institute/Foreign Language Center in 2005. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in International Business and Spanish from Muskingum College, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, they also hold several certifications, including Negotiation Skills Training from The SAB Group in 2012, Mastering Business Development from MBDi | Mastering Business Development Inc. in 2012, Balanced Scorecard Professional Certification Course from the Balanced Scorecard Institute in 2010, Managing Federal Proposals from Shipley Associates in 2009, and Capturing Federal Business, Capture Management Course from Shipley Associates in 2008.
