Matthew Paroly

Matthew Paroly has a significant amount of experience in the automotive industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Vice President and General Counsel at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Chief Legal Officer at TI Automotive and Senior Vice President - Chief Legal Officer at Nexteer Automotive. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Fisker Automotive. Before joining Fisker, they worked as the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Meridian Automotive Systems. Matthew's earlier career includes roles as the Managing Commercial Attorney at Delphi Automotive Systems and Assistant General Counsel at Guardian Industries. Throughout their career, Matthew has been responsible for providing legal advice and counsel on various strategic and operational initiatives, including financing, acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and commercial matters.

Matthew Paroly attended Harvard Law School from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a JD degree in Law. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1987, they studied at the University of Michigan, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
