Chief Administrative Officer at AAMI

Ed Glabus has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ed is currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), a nonprofit organization. Prior to this role, Ed held the position of Operations Executive and Vice President/Chief of Operations (CHOPS) for the National Security & Intelligence Division of ECS. Ed was also the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), where they managed a $300 million annual budget. Ed has also served as the Executive Director of The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program and as the Executive Vice President and General Manager at ManTech International. Furthermore, they have been a Member of the Board of Directors of NeXolve and held various roles at Aegis Research Corporation, including Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a spin-off technology venture. Additionally, Ed has a military background, having served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years.

Ed Glabus received their Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.) degree from Georgetown University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. In 2004 to 2005, they pursued a graduate-level leadership and management certificate (ILE) at the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College. Later, in 2010 to 2011, they obtained a miniMBA Certificate from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business.
