Emily R. Champlin

Emily R. Champlin, JD, currently serves as the Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA). Previous roles include Associate Director of Regulatory Advocacy and Senior Policy Advisor at the American Nurses Association, and Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare Policy Analyst at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, where legislative analysis was conducted to improve access to healthcare for Latinx communities. Emily also worked as a Virginia Outreach Fellow at Young Invincibles, as a Legislative Policy Analyst for PAI - Champions of Global Reproductive Rights, and held various law clerk positions focused on advancing women's rights and health equity. Emily holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University, School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
