Isabella Shelby

Isabella Shelby has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. In 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at both MD Anderson Cancer Center and Children's Hospital Colorado. In 2019, they conducted Honors Thesis Research at the University of Colorado Boulder. In 2021, they worked as a Summer Researcher at Children's Health before joining the American Academy of Pediatrics as a Medical School Delegate. Isabella then became a Medical Student Assistant District Representative and currently holds the position of Medical Student District Representative at District VII. In 2022, they started working as a Clinical Researcher at Texas Children's Hospital.

Isabella Shelby's education history begins in 2012 at Mountain Range High School, where they completed their high school education. From 2016 to 2020, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. During their time at the university, they also earned a Certificate in Neuroscience and Behavior. Currently, Isabella is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center, a program they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024.
