Laura Underhile

Laura Underhile began their work experience as an Editorial Intern at Sauk Valley News in 1996. Laura then worked as an Editorial Assistant at Sourcebooks from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they had roles as both an Editorial Assistant and a Software Support Analyst at McGraw-Hill Higher Education. In 2006, they became a Copywriter/External Communications Specialist at Medline Industries, Inc and also started their own company, LU2 Editorial. Later, they joined Professional Medical, Inc as a Senior Copywriter from 2009 to 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist at FTD Companies. Currently, they are serving as the Editor, Professional/Clinical Publishing at the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2019.

Laura Underhile completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Laura attended this university from 1998 to 2002. Prior to their university studies, they received their high school education at Dixon High School, where they obtained a diploma from 1994 to 1998. The field of study during their high school education is not specified.
