Arabel Alva Rosales has a diverse and accomplished work experience. Arabel is currently the Founder and Producer of RUNWAY LATINx and the Co-Founder & Principal of Latino Fashion Week. Arabel also founded Pivoting In Heels, a Digital Non-for-Profit focused on empowering women. In addition, they served as the President & CEO of AAR & Assocs., LTD., a full breadth technology firm. Arabel has held leadership positions in various organizations, including being a Vice Chairman of the Board at the City of Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), an Executive Committee member of the Board of Directors at the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Member at the Women's Business Development Center. Arabel was also a Commissioner at the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Director of the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. Arabel's work experience spans over two decades and showcases their expertise in business, fashion, and community empowerment.
Arabel Alva Rosales completed their Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University College of Law from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued Business Administration with a focus on Liberal Arts from Loyola University Chicago between 1992 and 1995.
