Marieke Pleiter

Marieke Pleiter is a molecular breeder with extensive experience in plant biotechnology. Currently employed at Aardevo since May 2021, Marieke has held positions ranging from breeding assistant to molecular breeder. Prior to this, an internship at Solynta involved identifying loci associated with resistance genes against various potato tuber diseases in elite parent lines. Marieke holds a Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences, both from Wageningen University & Research, along with a VWO - technasium diploma in Nature and Technology + Nature and Health from Candea College.
