Rene Steurer

Rene Steurer is a seasoned professional in corporate strategy and investment banking, currently serving as the Group Managing Director of Corporate Strategy at Aareal Bank since June 2016. Prior to this role, Steurer gained significant experience at Societe Generale in investment banking from October 2011 to June 2016, and at Deutsche Bank as a Director focused on Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Germany from April 2007 to August 2011. Steurer's career began at Lehman Brothers as an Associate in FIG Germany from July 2000 to November 2006. Steurer holds a Diplom Kaufmann in Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt, completed in 2000, and a pre-diploma from The Philipp University of Marburg, obtained in 1996.
