Roland Abt

Roland Abt serves as the Chairman of the Board at Aargau Verkehr AG since 2019 and holds board positions at Swisscom and Bystronic Group from April 2016 and April 2014, respectively. Previously, Roland Abt was Chief Financial Officer at Georg Fischer from March 2004 to March 2017 and at GF AgieCharmilles from August 1997 to February 2004, as well as at GF Piping Systems from January 1996 to July 1997. Roland Abt also gained experience as Division Manager at Nueva Management AG from May 1993 to July 1995 and as CEO at Industrias Plycem SA from March 1991 to April 1993. Roland Abt earned a doctorate in business administration from the University of St. Gallen between 1977 and 1985.
