M Yacoob

M Yacoob has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They currently hold the position of Lead, Products & Partnerships at Aarorn Technologies Inc since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Young Fellow at the WORLD ISLAMIC ECONOMIC FORUM Foundation from October 2016 to August 2022.

From February 2020 to May 2021, M Yacoob worked as the Director, Client Services ASEAN and Country Head, Malaysia at Virtusa. They also held the role of Lead, Digital Platforms at Max Money from May 2017 to December 2019, where they played a key role in driving the fintech arm of the company and launching innovative services.

M Yacoob has had notable experiences at companies like Digi Telecommunications, where they served as Principal - Strategy & Projects from December 2016 to April 2017, and Lazada Group, where they held the positions of Vice President, Regional Vendor Acquisition and Country Head of Sales, Lazada Malaysia in 2015.

They have also worked at Craftsvilla as the Country Launcher for Malaysia and Singapore from September 2015 to October 2016. Prior to that, they held positions at Groupon as Director - Groupon Goods and City Manager, and at Quantum Beez as a Business Analyst.

M Yacoob holds a Master of E-Business Management degree in Marketing & Strategy from the International University of Japan. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including the INSEAD Telenor Strategy Execution Programme from INSEAD Executive Education in February 2017, Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from Motorola University in February 2011, and a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2021.
